Felinekidney.com is a free educational resource and online forum community helping caregivers managing feline diabetes. Our mission is to help every cat with chronic kidney disease live a longer, healthier and happier life.

Felinekidney.com was created to give cat owners a trusted place to learn about chronic kidney disease (CKD), ask questions, and connect with others facing the same diagnosis.

A CKD diagnosis can be overwhelming. Bloodwork, urine tests, phosphorus, hydration, medications, diets, supplements, and fluid therapy can quickly become confusing. Our goal is to make that information easier to understand while fostering a supportive community where caregivers can share experiences and learn from one another.

Like many members of this community, I have a cat living with chronic kidney disease.

Finding reliable information isn’t always easy. Advice is scattered across social media, groups, research papers, and veterinary websites. Some information is outdated, while other recommendations lack context or supporting evidence.

I created Felinekidney.com to bring those resources together in one place. A community built around education, respectful discussion, and practical guidance for everyday caregivers.

My background is in engineering, where evaluating technical information, solving complex problems, and communicating clearly are essential skills. Those same principles guide the development of Felinekidney.com.
